Today I Rise

Last year, three women, Alexandra Feldner, Kerstin Löber and Karen Downes “pioneered the possible.”  They hosted their first FemmeQ Summit in Berlin, entitled “Rising Women, Rising World”.  It was a gathering of 140 people from 15 countries who focused on the feminine principle for community action in the world.  The summit was promoted by a video recording of a poem about female empowerment.  It struck a chord when I first watched it.

If you’re curious about the nature of the discussions at the summit, the team have presented wonderfully edited highlights.

It would be interesting to know how the contributors and participants have integrated their inspiration into their lives, don’t you think?

    1. Hopefully you’ll be able to catch up on them soon – they’re all categorised “Film Feast for the Future”. Can imagine how frustrating that is – I use sound more than I realise when on the comp.

          1. I have no idea. At the moment I’m having trouble keeping up with everything. Seems I just want to sit here and soak up the silence now that Bran is working full time and I have the house to myself most of the week. I think I needed this interlude before Stef and the kids get here…
